- onions
- garlic
- lardons
- canned black beans
- thyme
- bay leaf
- tomato paste
- stock
Method
- begin by frying off the lardons until browned
- add the onions and begin to cook down
- add the garlic and cook until brown
- add the herbs and tomato paste and cook for 2 mins
- add the black beans (including any liquid) and the stock
- leave on a low heat for at least 1.5 hours
